Solar energy is energy that is produced by the sun. There is direct solar energy, such as hanging out washing on the line to dry by using the suns heat, but then there is capturing solar energy. There are a few different methods that can be used to capture the energy of the sun, including solar panels.
The sun is out around 12 hours a day, which gives people plenty of time to capture energy. By using things like solar panels, people can capture some of that wasted energy and convert it into something useful. One of the best things to do is to use a converter which will convert the energy from the sun into usable energy. Any additional electricity that is not needed can be stored and sold to the utility supplier for a nice profit!
First of all, electrons need to be absorbed, which is what the panels are intially used for. Once they have been absorbed, they are moved about at a fast rate by the energy that comes from the sun. This creates what we know as electrcity. That being said, this electricity is in a different form to what we are used to. The electricity will only be usable once it has been converted and stored in batteries.
Essentially, solar energy is the future, so it is important to know how it works. Without solar energy, the planet would end a lot sooner than it is going to. Using and understanding solar energy is what everyone needs in order for the planet to survive longer!
